rhl identified two cases where the extraction is producing bad (spectral) pixels extending over multiple fibers. The example he provided is 104144r3:
- Row 1396 has 521 fibers with zero flux flagged as NO_DATA (10 of them also flagged as CR).
- There are several other instances of 3 neighbouring fibers with zero flux and flagged as NO_DATA|BAD_FIBERTRACE. This points to a problem in the fiberProfiles, and there is a NAN in the profile norm at that point. But the profile norms are constructed from multiple inputs, so a few bad pixels here and there shouldn't end up in the profile norms. This is using calibs from /work/kiyoyabe/erun/run17/calibs/generateCalibs/20240701/CALIB-kiyoyabe-20240712, which have been produced with the latest code.
