Plan for QA check of calibration in May 2024 run

      Description

      Steps to be taken to perform QA on calibration frames.

      1. For each visit/detector combo, check the auto-generated residual plot for spatial and wavelengths that are "good" and "bad" (i.e. smaller or larger than EDR2 values for given detector). If "bad", investigate.
      2. For each sequence of line and trace visits, check consistency between visits. If not consistent, investigate.
      3. Once all the arc lines sequences are done, and assuming consistency between visits, generate combined plot for all arclines. If "bad" investigate.
      4. Once the traces sequence is done, and assuming consistency between visits, generate combined plot for all traces and arclines. If "bad" investigate.
      5. Produce overall comparison plot showing single value for each detector and soften values.
      6. Decide if previous calibration frames are sufficient, otherwise generate new calibration frames.

      The types of investigation will depend on which of the above is "bad" and will require discussion/thought.

      The above steps should be able to be performed immediately after the calibration frames have been reduced. The software is ready (after merge) to be run from the command line for all steps except the final detector comparison plot.
