Sprint:PreEng11Apr1
With the upcoming run in April 2023, we'll have opportunities to take calibration data.
This list describes dataset that are required to reduce data properly but also some that we consider useful for DRP development.
spectrograph : 1,3
arm : b,r,m,n
- set of scienceTrace, steady quartz source, with all cobra at home(5-10 duplicates), required, 10 minutes
- ditheredFlats to build masterFlat for n1, 45 minute with one duplicate.
- set of scienceArc, neon, hgcd, xenon, krypton with all cobra at home(1-3 duplicate per lamp) required 20 minutes (maybe we get around using sky lines but I think we still want those 20 minutes)
- for fiberProfiles construction, take 1/3rd fiberProfiles with 5 dither position [-0.4, -0.2, 0, 0.2, 0.4], 1 duplicate + same 5 dither position where all cobras are hidden. ~30 minutes per configuration, so 1h30.
- dot penumbra study, move to those designs and take flats.
- diffused light/background study, hide all cobras, then reveal cobras in a appropriate pattern, (2, 4, 8, 16..)
- defocus data set (TBD)
data taken is listed here .
