Update Centroid algorithm for touching sources

In rare cases, two cobras that are close together, combined with a low detection threshold, results in the areas over the threshold touching, which effectively means that one of the spots will be missed in the spot detection algorithm, which looks for contiguous regions above the threshold. 

We can solve this by raising the threshold, but we need to make sure this doesn't result in the non detection of valid sources.
