Before we start with full data acquisition on the Subaru data system, we need to be able to find baseline values for the optimal exposure time in order to get the best signal to noise for large amounts of spots without saturating the detector. This is basically the rehash of <del>PIPE2D-324</del> for the ``new'' system at Subaru.

The notebook code is at https://github.com/Subaru-PFS/dev_2ddrp/blob/master/2d_PSF_code/Code_Repository/Other_Notebooks/Flux_Calculation_For_LAM_January_2019.ipynb.

1. For HgAr, flux is 0.5 of the flux that we have used at LAM, where attenuator was set at a value of 195. This means that to get equivalent exposure all times need to be extended by a factor of 2.
2. For Neon, flux is around 7.5 times higher than what we have used at LAM, where attenuator was set at a value of 243. This means that to get equivalent exposure all times need to be reduced by a factor of 7.5. Of course, that opens the old problem of the finite time for the transfer of the shutter, described in <del>PIPE2D-422</del>.
</comment>
