No new changes to programs were needed. I thought that this was done for HSC via scons dependencies in ons_subaru</p> <p>genDefectList.py creates the list of defects which genDefectFits.py (which is executed when running scons) then uses to create the defect registry and corresponding fits files</p> <p>Right, you don't need to run genDefectList.py as the ascii table is checked in to git.
