See <tt>notes</tt> subdirectory for processes executed (<tt>calib-generation-20230121.md</tt>) and key log files that include fit statistics.</p> <p>To understand the effect of gain adjustment, figure <span class="nobr"><a href="https://pfspipe.ipmu.jp/jira/secure/attachment/15528/15528_Figure+65-4.png" title="Figure 65-4.png attached to PIPE2D-1158">Figure 65-4.png^{<img class="rendericon" src="https://pfspipe.ipmu.jp/jira/images/icons/link_attachment_7.gif" height="7" width="7" align="absmiddle" alt="" border="0"/>}</a></span> shows 1D plots of an example {{fiberTrace}, summed along the y (wavelength) direction, with the gain correction (<a href="https://pfspipe.ipmu.jp/jira/browse/PIPE2D-1142" title="fix ccds gain" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="PIPE2D-1142"><del>PIPE2D-1142</del></a>) applied (blue) and not applied (orange). The amplifier boundaries are overplayed as red vertical lines. While the gain adjustment is clear, in general there are no noticeable discontinuities across amplifier boundaries. <span class="nobr"><a href="https://pfspipe.ipmu.jp/jira/secure/attachment/15528/15528_Figure+65-4.png" title="Figure 65-4.png attached to PIPE2D-1158">Figure 65-4.png^{<img class="rendericon" src="https://pfspipe.ipmu.jp/jira/images/icons/link_attachment_7.gif" height="7" width="7" align="absmiddle" alt="" border="0"/>}</a></span> shows a zoomed in version of the same plot around one fiber trace that is close to an amplifier boundary, and the improvement with the new gain (blue) is apparent.</p> <p>The remaining plots are of key lines from a twilight exposure visit <tt>83259</tt>, reprocessed with the new CALIB. The wavelength solution appears to be good.</p> <p>Note that this new calibration dataset has <em>not</em> yet been installed in the official area at Hilo, Summit and PU. I delegate that to <a href="https://pfspipe.ipmu.jp/jira/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?name=arnaud.lefur" class="user-hover" rel="arnaud.lefur">arnaud.lefur</a>, who will be taking over the role of calibration product custodian.</p> <p>Considering this work complete.
