The "intelligent" ion pump controller isn't very. In particular it does not track pump lifetime. So the xcuActor status loop should do the sums when it can, to at least give us a lower bound on the accreted matter.

Yes, we can get this from the logs if we really want. But it wouldn't be that hard to do a much better job and have the numbers available.
