And the handling procedures require that they be changes with every swap.</p> <p>There is no such mechanism for the Teledyne DAQ chain. The <tt>ics_hxActor</tt> can (and usually does) request a specific SAM, whose serial number is readable. But there is no place to store the ASIC, detector, and cable serial numbers.
