To confirm, I drove all three motors towards home, and they all tripped/hit the far (wrong) limit. </p> <p>The bench system at IDG showed axis A going in the wrong direction; the other two were OK. Turned out that the initialization string sent to the motors did not define the motor direction (the correct F0 vs. F1), and that axis A showed the same behavior as the motors at LAM. After setting F0, the motor behaved correctly.</p> <p>We suspect that is the only motor configuration problem at LAM, but of course cannot be sure that there is not miswiring.</p> INSTRM-27

The error was where the wires coming out of the motor were plugged in to the <a href="https://pfspipe.ipmu.jp/jira/browse/SCIDB-9" title="hscMap: documentation" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="SCIDB-9"><del>DB-9</del></a>. This has been fixed.</p> <p>The firmware problem is that the motor direction cannot be set for axes 2-4, which is why we were not able to paper over the problem on axes B&amp;C. </p> <p>If the wiring is correct, the firmware bug is irrelevant.
