In particular, it can&apos;t handle close sources, and wasn&apos;t designed to handle strongly varying backgrounds (ie, from cirrus, or nearby bright sources). Consequently, using the full sextractor algorithm, although slower, is probably necessary.&#160;&lt;/p&gt;
