https://pfspipe.ipmu.jp/jira This file is an XML representation of an issue en-us 8.3.4 803005 13-09-2019 https://pfspipe.ipmu.jp/jira/browse/INSTRM-1286 Instrument control development <p>The gen2Actor is a schizophrenic thing: it is both an MHS and a g2cam client, and the g2cam side is currently the primary one (see <a href="https://pfspipe.ipmu.jp/jira/browse/INSTRM-379" title="Invert nesting of OCS/MHS parts of ics_gen2Actor" class="issue-link" data-issue-key="INSTRM-379">INSTRM-379</a>). This makes it behave differently from all other actors. One place where this causes trouble is with logging: the MHS logging configuration is subsumed by the g2cam one, so we do not get dated rolled-over MHS logs in /data/logs/actors/gen2/. Instead, all MHS traffic s dumped into a nohup.xxx file in the product directory.</p> <p>Find a minimal fix.</p> INSTRM-1286
