The iicActor is the one which will know and declare that. One reason is to know which pfsDesign value to use.</p> <p>We need iicActor commands to declare which source is live. Those commands will arrive from Gen2 and/or PFS. </p> <p>Per <a href="https://pfspipe.ipmu.jp/jira/browse/INSTRM-1094" title="Populate pfs_visit.pfs_design_id column " class="issue-link" data-issue-key="INSTRM-1094"><del>INSTRM-1094</del></a>, the iicActor needs to generate a new MHS keyword providing that correct pfsDesign, presumably whenever iicActor knows when the value changes.</p> INSTRM-1095
