<project id="10001" key="INFRA">Software Development Infrastructure</project>

For the sake of project administration, can we settle on a single database implementation? MySQL? PostgreSQL? MariaDB?

So far ICS is using postgres via psycopg2, mostly for the archiver. But I don't think we have strong opinions.
FPS also uses Postgresql

Do any observing/targeting/pipeline groups care yet?

(MySQL or Maria is also fine for me, although.)

Actually I thought Princeton has a strong attachment to postgres, and that's why I asked FPS to use postgres.
</comment>

We have no biases; LSST is currently using mariadb. The postgres preference comes from NAOJ – who there told you that they used Oracle?
</comment>

Check whether Subaru (or/and Mitaka?) have any desire/interest

Check Kiyoto and MPA for this point

Define our baseline and have some statement at pfspipe website.

Should they technically be able to monitor this ticket? If not, I think they should be explicitly nominated as watchers.
</comment>
