Presumably we will want to be able to retrieve either individual locations or ranges (e.g. multiple visits of a GA targets and subregions of the cosmology survey.

Now, in our last telecon Jim distinguished guide stars from acquisition stars. There seems to be only a table guide_stars however. Can I assume this to be the appropriate location for acquisition stars?

If so, can you give instructions on filling the fields please?

guide_star_id - ?

cat_id - ?

obj_type_id - ?

flux_agc - ?

Currently, I have no idea on actual contents of the table, so you can insert whatever you need, which can be taken from the actual Gaia catalog, for your development into the table.
</comment>
