The simulator docker images are rather large, so I'd prefer not to bother with them. I suggest instead using the pipeline docker image, and retrieving the simulator functionality (drp_instmodel, drp_instdata) through git. |

Ok I can use https://github.com/Subaru-PFS/pfs_pipe2d/blob/master/docker/Dockerfile.sim2d directly, but I noticed that pipeline docker image is 5 month old, is that ok ? |

The simulator doesn't use much of the pipeline functionality, and I'm not aware of any recent changes to the pipeline that would change the simulator behaviour. |
