| Description |
|
Run the simulator to create multiple (3 or more) flat exposures at two separate slit positions. For one of the set of exposures at a single slit position, inject cosmic ray events. The resultant set of exposures will be used to implement a non-morphological cosmic ray correction algorithm in the 2D DRP pipeline. |

When we say, " inject cosmic ray events" these needn't look much like cosmics, single bright pixels would suffice. I think they should go in all the fake exposures at least for unit tests; it might be easier to not put then into any of the sims, but only add them as part of the tests.

Created new sim images, and updated the integration test to use them. |
