| Description |
|
Provide a set of F-star spectra, in the same format that will be used for the 2D DRP flux calibration, for subsequent simulation. This would probably be based on the AMBRE library. |

I am not up-to-date on where the simulation code stands now, but do you need spectra up to 1.26um or the default AMBRE coverage (1.20um) is sufficient for now? I am guessing that we should deliver spectra that cover the entire PFS wavelength range because we need them at some point anyway, but let me just make sure. |

We'd need the entire range (otherwise there would be a sharp cutoff at 1.20 microns), but some spline or gp fit would be fine for this. The format is defined in the datamodel.

I am sorry for the massive delay, but here are the files: https://hsc-release.mtk.nao.ac.jp/pfs/ambre/README https://hsc-release.mtk.nao.ac.jp/pfs/ambre/extrapolatedAMBRE.tar.gz Let me know if you have any questions. |
