As suggested in PFS-drp:00454 (https://pfspipe.ipmu.jp/pipermail/reduction/2019/000467.html), illumination of a fiber by an off-axis source has an effect on the rendered fiber image. This should be modeled. The off-axis positioning may be due to either a limitation in the input catalogue for that given source, or incorrect modeling of the DCR, etc. |
