Prepare object lists from PDR2 following the selection criteria of each SSP survey components. Pass the lists to Kiyoto Yabe to run ETC (which is a separate ticket). |

I picked the UD_COSMOS field for the galaxy evolution survey. For the cosmology and archaeology surveys, I picked VVDS because it is relatively large and reasonably square-shaped as of PDR2. The target selection criteria are the same as v2. I spent some time thinking about input spectra to simulate, but I chose to take an easy path, which is to use only one star forming and one quiescent galaxy spectra as we did in v2, just for now. The number of objects increased quite a bit and the compute time for ETC is now a concern. For our purpose, we do not necessarily have to simulate all objects, and we will reduce objects to keep the compute time within a reasonable amount of time. The first version of the catalogs have been sent to Yabe-kun. |

A minor fix was made and a revised catalog was sent to Yabe-kun for production. |
