| Description |
|
Currently, the proto-type system cannot see anything inside the NAOJ firewall. Talk to the network security people and explore ways for us to access the disks inside. |

We discussed with the network admin and it seems there is no major issue accessing the disks inside the firewall. We will mount the disks via NFS from the proto-type. The admin says that the I/O will not be super fast because the firewall checks/screens all the NFS packes, but I think that is fine for now. If the I/O speed becomes an issue in the future, we can explore other options (which we actually have). |

NFS mount is now working. Ticket closed. |
