Should we be able to process complex lsf, i.e. described by a more complex data structure than a vector of lambda and a vector of sigma
e.g. : un vecteur de lambda et N vecteurs décrivant les n élements de la LSF autour de la longueur d'onde centrale

you mean, having a sampled profile at each observed wavelength ?

up to now, amazed does not handle non-gaussian LSF profile. It can be implemented, at least to test the eventual redshift estimation performance gain of using a more realistic LSF and thus line profile. The drawback will be a much longer processing time, since each line profile at each tested redshift will have to be constructed by convolving the LSF profile by a Gaussian to take into account the intrinsic velocity dispersion of the line.
