| Description |

Krypton data in blue fails with an unusual error message that I do not understand. This is with photometerLines.doApertureCorrection=False and the same procedure does well on Argon, Neon etc… See here: https://gist.github.com/nevencaplar/99d8cd4bce0cca243f3ed312614ddc63 . This is with the master as it appears on Tiger without modifications, on Nov 10, 2021.

Traced this to a really bad distortion fit due to a faint line sitting next to a bright line. Removing the problem by flagging the faint line in the linelist allows the distortion fit to fail properly (due to only 2 wavelengths), and then reduceExposure finishes normally. |
