This is related to As part of that work or otherwise, please add the ability to take a set of arcs and quartz or sky exposures and update the DetectorMap, using a combination of the arc line positions and the continuum. In some cases these may be from the same exposure (bright-time exposures in the red, HgAr arcs); if needs be we could specify these visits twice, once as "arcs" and once as "flats" but I'd rather not. pfsDetectorMap-045744-b1.fits gives much better results in the blue. The problem is that we've walked away from a good solution in the blue when improving other parts of the Map. |
