 Description

We have "imaging flats" from the test dewar at JHU. Yes, those have odd vignetting, etc., but we can use them to make a superflat. From that superflat, the simulator should generate dithered flats using realistic pixel gains.

Planned for the weekend of 29/30 October.

The recent set of simulated dithered fiber flats for the LAM1 slit had a "superflat" applied. Specifically, the files are in tigressdata:/tigress/HSC/PFS/JHU/sims/2016-11-0[78]/
The superflat was ../JHU/root/CALIB/FLAT/r/flat/pfsFlat-2015-12-01-0-1r.fits, which was built from r1's 7260-4

Note that the simulated images have no background signal: outside the traces the flux was 0 so the unflattened flux was also 0.
