It turns out that the threshold for line detection in FindLinesTask fails to allow for the effect of the PSF convolution on the threshold. Please fix this (e.g. by smoothing the variance, or dividing the threshold by the filter's effective area, sqrt(4 pi width^2) for a 1-D Gaussian. |

This ticket is incorrect, the code's right. My problems with reference lines came from somewhere else. |
