rhl has developed a notebook that provides plots that show the relative positioning of each SuNSS fiber, the fiber identifier (SpS slit hole), and a colour intensity corresponding to the flux entering the respective fiber. See attached plots for example. Translate the algorithms in this notebook into python utilities and put those into an appropriate repository. As cloomis points out, this cannot be pfs_utils, as these utilities are heavily dependent on 2D DRP code. |
