Stability data acquired from SM1 at Subaru should be compared with the results from the 2D simulator. Quoting @rhl in the #drp-2d channel on slack today:
For the comparison, please run the stability data analysis without fitting the wavelength solution. |

I'm not sure we need a ticket for this, it should just be looking at the outputs. The point, " please run the stability data analysis without fitting the wavelength solution" is different; that's a way to look at the stability data internally, and I'm not sure it's useful for the comparison with sims. It is work that does need to be done independently of the sims, and may need its own ticket. |

This appears to be redundant following arnaud.lefur's stability analysis efforts. If additional effort is required, that can go in dedicated tickets. |
