As discussed on technical DRP 2d telecon, this ticket is to document creation of objects that would contain PSF instances across detector, which will be used as input for I am generating several spots for each fiber (as many as possible) and for each of these positions I am providing 100x100 numpy arrays which should be 5x times oversampled. I plan to generate several models which correspond to different datasets/assumptions during modeling, so that we evaluate what works the best. |

First examples placed in `/tigress/ncaplar/ positions_of_simulation_00 array contains positions of each PSF model. The columns are: 1. fiberId, 2. approximate x coordinate, 3. approximate y coordinate, 4. wavelength. array_of_simulation_00 array contains arrays with 100x100 PSF models (5x times oversampled). At the moment there are *_Aug05_v1 and *_Aug07_v1 versions, which correspond to different assumptions during creations of the final PSF. These PSF are valid for F/2.8 data taken in May/June 2019, i.e., 17017 to 17646. It is not valid for Neon data from the same run (6238-16351)!!! |

I plan to do the same analysis on the data taken in August, for which we should have all arc available. After that, there are many ways this can be improved.... |
