| Description |

The scattered light subtraction is leaving negative pixels, probably because our model is not an accurate representation of what's actually going on. The negative pixels adversely impact things like profile measurements. It feels a bit like a damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you-don't kinda thing, but we're probably better off without the scattered light subtraction for now, until we can determine a better model. |

The patch is trivial, but I want to make sure we agree this is a good thing to do for now. |

Spoke with rhl, and he agreed that it was probably better to turn this off for now. |
