CCD defects have not yet been mapped but the LSST defect registry and ISR have been implemented

See SCAM-3. No new changes to programs were needed. To test just compile obs_pfs after running genDefectList.py (See SCAM-3) and run ISR task on any image in /tigress/HSC/PFS/PFS

Why do I need to explicitly run genDefectList.py? I thought that this was done for HSC via scons dependencies in ons_subaru

genDefectList.py creates the list of defects which genDefectFits.py (which is executed when running scons) then uses to create the defect registry and corresponding fits files

Right, you don't need to run genDefectList.py as the ascii table is checked in to git. Sorry for the confusion.

The interpolation code seems to be running just fine; good to merge.

However, the defects list is I think incorrect – see SCAM-3

Nothing to merge, the defect list created by SCAM-3 is just applied and interpolated over
