 Description

Write a draft code of the second half part of flux calibration, which reads pfsFluxReference, makes a model of flux calibration vectors, and then applies it to science targets. This part is comparable with an existing code, fluxCalibrateTask.

At this moment, we implement the following tasks in this second half part:

  • measure the flux calibration vector of each flux standard,
  • simply calculate an average of the flux calibration vectors across the field of view, instead of smart modeling,
  • apply the averaged flux calibration vector to science targets,
  • finally, output the flux-calibrated spectra of the science targets (pfsSingle) and the flux calibration parameters (fluxCal).

After commissioning observations, we will work on modeling flux calibration vectors across the FoV and studying it.
`fluxCal` will be a subclass of FocalPlaneFunction according to the current fluxCalibrateTask.

We can close this ticket. I provided the draft code to Mineo-san, and he finished the second half part.
