| Description |
|
Apply object detection and centroiding on an AG image that has been removed of instrument artifacts and sky-subtracted. The results should be a list of objects, with estimated flux, positions and positional errors (coordinate system to be determined - detector coordinates are an option.) This information should be written to the operational database. |

The centroiding routine will not be affected by sky subtraction, etc (simply pass the adjusted image to the routine). There currently isn't a column in the database for the errors on positions from the centroiding; does this need to be added, and if so, would this come purely from the uncertainty in the centroiding method?
