Sprint: SM1PD-2020 J

 Description

STS alarm messages that we receive contain only the value field :

PFS: XCU_R1 Cooler1 Load value is at 0
ACK27932
Mon Jan 13 04:36:08 2020

But text field has information in it that help operator to diagnose the problem, so we definitely need it.

Is that trivial to add  Yoshida, Hiroshige

Add a dollar sign character "$" somewhere in your Alarm Message. It will be replaced with a text value. An asterisk character "*" will be replaced with a numeric value. For example, the full message for "PFS: XCU_R1_Cooler1_Load" is currently:

PFS: XCU_R1_Cooler1_Load value is *

Change it to something like:

PFS: XCU_R1_Cooler1_Load value is *, $

Re-assigned to Yoshida, Hiroshige to implement the corresponding changes in the STS.  cloomis and arnaud.lefur in discussions today agree with his proposal and will address that in INSTRM-1084.

Except the ion pump pressures, it seems that configuration changes for the SM1 data source alarms have already been applied by a STS user.

So Yoshida, Hiroshige would you be able to arrange for the corresponding configuration changes for ion pump pressures, then we can close this ticket?

Comment by arnaud.lefur [ 08/Oct/20 ]

I think there is a small misunderstanding, this ticket should be closed, Yoshida, Hiroshige gave us a solution, that will be soon improved (INSTRM-1084)
but it's actually INSTRM-1083 that should be assigned to Yoshida, Hiroshige

I added the text data to the ionpump pressure alarms.
