We need to be able to download firmware to a "bare" board: a board which has no firmware but just bootloader. And there are a couple of sloppy parts in the downloading routine. |

Merged at 0b706bb, tagged 1.10.6 Was needed quickly at LAM. Tested on b2 and b9 at JHU, then r1 (bare bootloader) and b1 at LAM. Some part of the initial code can now be removed. The only actual use cases are "straightToCode" for newly created controllers without running firmware, and "sendReboot" for all normal invocations. |
