Description |
Viewing STS alerts requires an account, and I believe that username space is different from the Subaru LDAP. Is that really true? In any case I have a login, but we need several more (starting with chyan). If not LDAP, should we stick to one login per person or should we make a generic pfs account? Up to you... |

Project Office created a PFS account for STS recently, and the plan is certainly its shared use by relevant PFS workers in the future. In fact, we did think to share that with Craig and Chi-Hung first of all, but we thought both of them already have their own accounts to access STS, so we didn't hurry. Hope this clarifies the background and ongoing story. |

Use of LDAP for user authentication is planned/considered for the STS web UI "version 2". Meanwhile, please utilize the mentioned shared account to access STS. |

In August 2019, when this issue discussed, Yoshida-san told that they had started to use LDAP for STS authentication. I indeed signed in with my LDAP account successfully at that time. |

Accounts needed created. Further accounts can be created on a case-by-case basis by contacting Subaru (Yoshida, Hiroshige) |
