 Description

According to Yuki's log, the focus positions of a through focus test should be like this:

10505000 -10.8
10505100 -8.8
10505200 -6.8
10505300 -4.8
10505400 -2.8
10505500 -0.8
10505600 1.2
10505700 3.2
10505800 5.2

However, if we looking the FOC-VAL value in FITS header, we get the sequence like this.

10505000 -10.8
10505100 -8.8
10505200 -6.8
10505300 -4.8
10505400 -2.8
10505500 1.2
10505600 -0.8
10505700 3.2
10505800 5.2

Looks not consistent. Why?

Well ... I thought I reported FOC-VAL as you observed. (See obslog as well as my message on Slack)...

I can see the subaru->gen2Actor->fits path having delays. But a swap is much harder to understand.

Ah... this was just a human error. We asked DC2 to move Hexapod, and -0.8 was skipped (and we asked move back)..

  1. So I feel this ticket would be "won't fix"..
