 Description   

Would it be possible to create a simple GUI to modify the alert actor alarm thresholds?

The current way to modify the values will be too cumbersome for Subaru technicians to manage (the way they manages similar alarms on other instruments). Modification of the thresholds should not happen often, but it will be needed depending on changes on the instrument or its environment, either for short-term test or permanently.

With INSTRM-1914 in place, (the title is now wrong, we would provide a version number not a path), we would be able to :

  1. machine-generate a new pfs_instdata version from the GUI
  2. have the alertsActor pointing on it
  3. reload the configuration, and hence the alerts with the new threshold value.

Does reloading the configuration has an impact on the operation of the instrument? Like triggering alarms, or reetting some default configs?
