 Description

gather mac addresses to PFS-LAN at production, and add them into dnsmasq definitions.

hostnames:

  • subaru summit core: swc-infra (.1)
  • CB2F: sw1-infra (.2), sw2-infra (.3; jic adding slave one, kyono do you think we don't need to have slave of flexstack?)
  • SpS/5th rack: sw1-scr (.4)
  • PFI: sw-pfi (.5; fiber to metal media converter with switch)
  • Cs: sw-mcs (.6)
  • SMs: sw-sm[1-4] (.7-.10)

Also:

  • Keep sw2-scr (.11) to be assigned if we place a switch at IR3 (for device connections).
  • Keep sw3-infra (.12) to be assigned if we place 10G switch at CB2F

.1 - .3 have been configured. If you have any preference, .4-.9 can be flexible as of 10/10(HST).

[Address assign]
subaru summit core: (.1)
CB2F: (.2) *Since two switches are in stack, VLAN64 logical interface has just one IP address.
SpS/5th rack: (.3)
SMs: SpS SM[1-4] switch (.4-.7)
PFI: (.8; fiber to metal media converter with switch)
Cs: (.9)

r? as PR.

Remarks:

  • mac address for swc-infra not added
  • mac addresses are copied from ones during test at IPMU (not checked at production)
  • pfi and smX are for future use (but already secured assigned).

CB2F : bcf1.f235.fc41(int vlan 64)
SpS : bcf1.f2a2.3a4(int vlan 64)

Others are not deployed yet. Hence, no info is available yet.

Ah, I forgot about Vlan.. Yes, MAC addresses should be different from AIT site, as you listed with adding 1.
hrm, for just in case (e.g. destructive reset), I'd keep adding both default and PFS-LAN.

fixed all, and checked consistency with the real (on machine). merged.
