| Description |

The background image of RMOD-71M (mcs of unit selector) is rounded to zero. The value of zero is causing the error for window centroid. We need to find out a work around for it. |

Can you explain this in a little more detail? How is this breaking the centroid estimate? |

karr Would you please elaborate this issue? |

(Recording) Chi-Hung passed Jennifer a data list consisting of short and long exposure time to find the parameters for us-mcs. The old parameters don't work for 71M camera because environment (background) has changed. |

An updated version is pushed to the branch. When working on it, I noticed that the FITS files for the unit selector images are numerically saturated (ie, the centre of teh spots flat, with a value of 4095). Spot detection works, but we need to check that the read out images are okay, and that the statistics work.
Note that the timing for this version won't be the same as the telescope version, as the noise statistics are different. |

The branch was merged and tested in Dec 2023. |
