 Description

The PCMs have a mask of which ports to automatically power up when the PCM is turned on. As shipped from IDG, that is engineering- or checkout- oriented: onlybthe BEE is powered up.

Once a cryostat is checked out, that should be flipped: most/all ports should be enabled by default. In particular, once a cryostat has been checkout out at Subaru, that mask should be changed.

Do so as they get delivered.

Fabrice suggests leaving the FEE off, and probably the coolers too.
