We should disallow lamps firing if the PFI is on the telescope and the dome shutter is not closed. [I nearly just turned the quartz on too early]. The gen2Actor has the dome shutter state and can broadcast it; the pfilampsActor can use it. |

(just for recording) When we took pfilamp data, iic failed with the following message 2023-12-29 08:33:57.059Z cmdr 20 CmdrConnection.py:212 command returned pfilamps 'prepare halogen=45' 2023-12-29 08:33:57.059Z cmds 20 CommandLink.py:122 > 2 168 w subCommand=30412,2,"pfilamps prepare halogen=45",1,"dome shutter must be closed (open) to run lamps" However, the status on the telescope side was "closed". The status didn't seem refreshed at that time; after running "gen2 status" command, the command ran OK. |
