 Description

For a while we generated "PFSA" files for the PFSB ramps, which gave a quick CDS for the full ramp. We stopped generating those partly because they were crude quicklook images and we did not want to stand behind them. Still, the mechanism was in place and worked.

We want to re-enable a variant of that, where every N reads we create a slightly larger quicklook file, saved in an explicitly temporary directory. Specifically, we want to save a simple CDS HDU just as before, which is what you would see if you naively opened the file. But we also want all four raw component HDUs for the CDS: IMAGE_1, REF_1, IMAGE_N, REF_N, for processes like DRP QA to do a better job.

The files are not intended for archiving, but to be consumed while the ramp is being taken: for the obslog, Gen2 viewing, or DRP QA. Starting with N=5 would give a new file every minute or so.

/data/raw/{date}/pfqb/pfqb-{visit:08d}-{read:03d}.fits, maybe?

Need to decide what simple processing should be applied. Bad pixels, rotation.
