 Description

Talking with Subaru, PFS ICS at summit (production) shall use 06-50-00-A5-0[01]-xx-xx for MAC address of VM clients.
Need to add this into document, and also need to have assignment table in dnsmasq repository.

proposal:

  • management: assign by block, check consistency at each macs/*.conf file in dnsmasq
  • from A5-0[0-1], allocate one to production, one to sites
  • A5-00-[0-7]X: PFS ICS services (incl, *-ics, *-infra, support tools)
  • A5-00-8X: SpS/ENU
  • A5-00-9X: SpS/SCR
  • A5-00-[ab]X: PFI (both Cobra and others incl AGCC)
  • A5-00-cX: MCS
  • A5-00-[def]X: (kept as spare)
  • A5-01-XX: AIT/development site specific tools
