Sprint: Eng12July

 Description

Just before converging/observing we need to correct the sky coordinates to the current epoch, ( INSTRM-1681) and then correct for the "mean" telescope altitude and atmospheric pressure for the field.

We need two pfs_utils routines to apply these. The final coordinates will be what the fps will converge the cobras to.

see more detail in INSTRM-1609.

In the current sky-pfi transformation code, the atmospheric refraction is taken into account actually. (If the refraction is not taken into account, the fibers around FoV edge should have ~50–150um shift in EL axis.)

Good ! So INSTRM-1882 and INSTRM-1884 and we should be able to close all related tickets.

This might be closed as won't fix, but I rechecked the code and confirmed refraction correction is included. I close this ticket.
