| Description |
|
After the engineering run, the SM3 images for the stability test were transferred to gen2/stars. According to Eric-san, PFS needs to call archive_framelist() only when we need to archive. This is needed until we agree to archive PFS off-telescope images. |

Since then we have learnt that HSC sets a FITS card (T_PURPOS) which STARS, etc. use to determine whether a visit is to be made public. We might be able to use that to archive all visits but keep the ones which are neither for calibrations nor science out of public searches. This is from discussions on the #image-files slack channel in early 2023-03. |

in the meantime, cloomis propose to add a disable/enable command. |
