possible groups (incl. system defined):

  • all: ICS host wide configuration
  • virt-host: VM physical host
  • actor: ICS actor host
and will have host specific ones for service hosts.

For production at Subaru,

all will contain:

  • system-accounts (TBC)
  • common-packages
  • cron-apt (need flag per host to disable install)
  • ntp
  • munin-node (to be removed?)
  • exim4
  • ldap
  • nfs (for system wide shared storage)

virt-host will contain:

  • virt

actor will contain:

  • eups

Added all, server, and virt-host.

server inventory group is for configuration of servers, which conflicts with all. flags named as server_* are defined per service not to run role(s) to configure client for each server/service, e.g. rsyslog-client to rsyslog-server.
