 Description

During the June run, the MCS still suffers from the kernel panic issues in the first two days. Although we did not see them come back to the end of June run, yet the replacing MCS computer with more stable architecture is required. A target machine is attached here for review.

Consider the availability and performance, we have replaced the order of ARK-3532B. It will be delivered no later than Sep 15.

Jennifer reported the performance test at the ICS/PFI telecon on 14 Oct 2022 (PFS-ics:02702, mcs_speeds.pdf). The performance for centroiding/fiber identification is good.
