 Description

During the preparation of May engineering run, we found that the MCS control computer needs some system upgrades. The edt (camerLink) driver caused kernel panic. Also, it takes a long time to reboot.

Chi-Hung will look at the PFIC machine to see if this is an alternative. After the June Eng run, a new replacement machine may need to be put together.

MCS computer is serviced on these days. The previous OS error message comes from bad PCIe slot and memory modules according the pre-Boot System Assessment, ePSA. After changing to another PCIe slot and replacing new memory modules, those error messages are done. Currently, there is no kernel panic message showed. However, building a new computer for MCS is still needed.
