We want calibrated units, but not from photometry of known stars. That is, we want to know how many photons are being detected on a given night. It may be that on a known photometric night we can calibrate the system once and for all using photometric standards (or it may be that we know the QE well enough).

Jennifer needs to confer with Shiang-Yu about the CCD gain.

Jennifer received the gain from Shiang-Yu so can proceed.

I assume that this are new measurements from flat pairs. Is that right, and where are the values being persisted?

Close this ticket as duplicated, because it was done with INSTRM-1892 initially, and will be improved with INSTRM-1979 and INSTRM-1976.
