The centroiding calculates fluxes in instrumental units; these need to be converted to absolute units for comparison with catalogue. |

We want calibrated units, but not from photometry of known stars. That is, we want to know how many photons are being detected on a given night. It may be that on a known photometric night we can calibrate the system once and for all using photometric standards (or it may be that we know the QE well enough). |
